Cost Inflation Index for FY 2021-22 (AY 2022-23)
CBDT vide Notification No 73/2021 dated 15.06.2021 has notified Cost Inflation Index (CII) used for calculating ‘Long Term Capital Gain or Loss’ on sale of capital assets such as Land, Building, House, Gold, Jewellery etc. for FY 2021-22 relevant to AY 2022-23. Cost Inflation Index (CII) for FY 2021-22 is notified as “317”.
